Hearts

Why is it not possible for your heart to stay in one piece? Mine is broken and I am not sure if it will ever mend again. I have had so much bad news and bad things happen to me in the last couple of weeks that I think it will be almost impossible for my heart to mend and the worst part is, is that it was broken by the person I love.
